Thanks for playing Waitwing. These terms cover the game and this website, provided by 5KM Tech, LLC (“we”). By installing or using the game, you agree to them. They are short; please take two minutes to read them.
1. License
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the game on computers you own or control.
Please don’t:
- sell, rent or otherwise redistribute the game itself;
- decompile, reverse engineer or crack the game, except where the law expressly allows it;
- remove or alter copyright notices in the game.
2. Your content
Cards you earn, pictures you export and videos you record are yours to share as you like. Before sharing, check that nothing in the picture is something you’d rather keep private.
3. Permissions and third-party tools
- On Mac, the game asks for system permissions such as Screen Recording and Location. You can decline each one; see the privacy policy for what they are used for.
- When you connect an AI assistant, the game edits that tool’s config file after you confirm, and lets you undo it. Claude Code, Codex and similar tools are products and trademarks of their respective companies. We are not affiliated with them; please follow their own terms when you use them.
4. Intellectual property
The game’s code, art, music, text, and the names “Waitwing” and “飞一会儿” belong to 5KM Tech, LLC or their respective owners. The Fusion Pixel font used in the interface is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Landmarks in the game are simplified block versions of real buildings, used for the game’s visuals only.
5. Disclaimer
The game is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it stable and pleasant, but we can’t promise it is free of bugs or always available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using or being unable to use the game.
6. Termination
If you break these terms, your license ends automatically and you need to stop using and delete the game. You can also end it any time by uninstalling the game.
7. Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. Significant changes will be noted in the changelog.
